Flute Music by Wayne McCleskey

Finding Balance

Finding Balance, an album of solo Native American flutes written to create a sense of deep harmony, peace, calm, and a connection to healing, is excellent to take with you to a massage therapist and listen to while the body is being adjusted.  Wayne shares, "In these distressing times, I hope this album can assist listeners to Find Balance in profound and deep ways." (64:35 in length, 18 songs, all but two composed by Wayne)

Heyoalinda

Heyoalinda, done jointly by artists Wayne McCleskey and Joan Johannes, includes four solo pieces, two duets accompanied by voice, and 16 Native American flute duets.  Wayne shares that the title comes from Cherokee friend, Hawk Littlejohn, who describes Heyoalinda this way: It is a cool, fall day.  You are working your way up the mountainside through dense rhododenron thickets.  You break through to a clear vista with mountains all around you.  The sun hits you and fills you with warmth.  And you sigh and say, Heyoalinda!

Price: $15 (US) for each, or $25 (US) for both. Shipping included in this Pachamama offer. Send check to:  Wayne McCleskey, 4026 NE 55th St. Suite D,  Seattle, WA 98105

Stranded, Stormy's Adventure

In the author's words:  "Stranded, Stormy's Adventure is based on the true story of Stormy, an 18-month-old bottlenose dolphin who was separated from his mother during a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico and stranded on the Texas Gulf Coast.  The Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network came to the rescue and nursed Stormy back to health. They gave him his name, and they asked me to give him a voice. If dolphins could speak English as well as they understand it, I think this is the tale Stormy would tell. It's an exciting story about getting lost in a storm, tangling with sharks, winding up stranded, and being rescued by strange creatures called "humans."   I've had to use my imagination to tell some of Stormy's story. But the one thing I do know for sure is that this story has a happy ending. And that's the important part.

"Economic hit men (EHMs) are highly paid professionals who cheat countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars. The funnel money from the World Bank, U.S. Agency for International Development, and other foreign "aid" organizations into the coffers of huge corporations and the pockets of a few wealthy families who control the planet's natural resources. Their tools include fraudulent financial reports, rigged elections, payoffs, extortion, sex, and murder. They play a game as old as empire, but one that has taken on new and terrifying dimensions during this time of globalization.

I should know; I was an EHM."

Thus begins the preface of John Perkins newest book,  Confessions of an Economic Hit Man (publication date October 2004).   John spent three decades as an Economic Hit Man, business executive, author, and lecturer, living and working in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and North America.  He then decided to use these experiences to change the world; he devoted himself to making the planet a better place for his daughter's generation. Today he teaches about the importance of rising to higher levels of consciousness, to waking up -- in both spiritual and physical realms.  His newest book tells the story of his remarkable life.
